Jonathan started work with Local Government in 1997 and worked for Councils across County Durham as an Environmental Ranger, Countryside Team Leader, Sustainable Development Manager and finally as the Policy Team Leader with Durham County Council. His work with these Councils included:

Having left Durham County Council in late 2012, Jonathan now works as a freelance environmental consultant, project manager and celebrant.
